Exclusive event: Small Space Gardening with Matt Leacy

 

 

During this 40-minute event, Matt will provide you with advice and handy tips on how to make the most out of your small garden or balcony space and how to look after your indoor plants. 

There will be a range of topics covered which include:

  • A demonstration on decorative pots and how to pot and arrange them.
  • How to manage drainage for pots and the best flowers to plant in spring.
  • Tips on small space vegetable gardening with quick harvesting options and window-sill planting. You’ll be inspired to start growing your favourite vegetables in your own home.
  • Discovering the health benefits of indoor plants, how to look after them, and to treat them for any pests they may have. 
  • How to grow plants at home through propagation, so you don’t have to visit a nursey or hardware store.
  • How to share your garden with the birds and the bees, with tips on attracting native stingless bees, what plants attract birds and bird baths.

Matt Leacy is an Aussie landscaping guru. A preeminent expert in his field, Matt has graced Australian magazines and television and is a regular columnist imparting practical advice for gardeners of any age, capability, and expertise. His pioneering spirit has fuelled an 18-year career in the Australian landscape and garden design industry and seen him become the current President of the LNA Master Landscapers Association.

Matt’s mission is to share his knowledge with other passionate people and encourage everyone to enjoy gardening and outdoor design.
