Olympics @RYMAN preparations in full swing

Written by Ryman Healthcare

Our Olympics@RYMAN preparations are in full swing – more than 700 residents have signed up to take part and hundreds more are working as volunteers.

We’ve been stunned by the response – we knew residents were competitive but the songs, the banter, and the enthusiasm for the event have made us realise we’ve unleashed a beast!

This week we really get down to business with cycling and swimming heats and inter-village bowls tournaments under way.

It’s going to be busy and it's time to give a special shout out to our village champions who are doing an incredible job.

For residents participating, they are your main point of contact for your events.

This is the first time we’ve done this so we’re learning as we go along, and our main concerns are to keep everyone safe as well as getting as many residents involved as possible using some great technology.

So, thanks for your kindness and patience, and please get in behind your village team!

Have a great week and go for gold!
