The Keith Park team has become an extension of Mary’s own family. She’s on a first name basis with everybody. “I didn’t have to work hard to feel comfortable. I was settled in very, very quickly.”

Annie lives how she wants. Quietly painting, loudly socialising, swimming in the ocean with her mermaids, and taking off whenever she likes to visit family. That is Annie’s measure of a full life.

While the pair met in the village, they are often mistaken for lifelong friends. Like Neil, David has always been an active person, they’re often spotted wading rivers in search of the ‘catch of the day’.
