The Support at Home program provides government-funded services designed to help older Australians live independently and comfortably at home – including within Ryman’s apartments, villas, and assisted-living apartments.
You have choice and flexibility in the way your care and support services are delivered. Whether you need help with everyday tasks like cleaning, medications, personal care, transport, or social activities, Support at Home funding can significantly enhance your lifestyle and wellbeing.
Ryman are a registered provider of the Support at Home program and can deliver services directly to you in your existing apartment or villa. This can help you maintain your independence and to age in place for longer.
Our team will discuss your options and tailor them to your individual needs and preferences. If you’re waiting for your Support at Home funding to begin, we can also help you access other government or private options in the meantime.

Support at Home services
From guiding you through the application process to tailoring services that meet your individual needs, we’ll help you make the most of your Support at Home funding.
Our goal is to ensure you receive the right level of care and support to help you live independently and comfortably at home. We also offer opportunities to stay socially connected, and support with community activities, personal interests, and hobbies.
Personal care
- Showering and bathing assistance including hair washing
- Assistance with compression stockings
- Personal grooming, including hair styling, make up and
nail care - Dressing and undressing
- Incontinence management
- Getting in and out of bed

- Vacuuming, mopping, and dusting
- Making or changing the bed

Transitioning from Home Care Packages to Support at Home
On 1 November 2025 the Australian Government’s Home Care Packages program transitioned to the Support at Home program. We’ve worked to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for residents moving from Home Care Packages to the Support at Home program.
