Weary Dunlop Retirement Village
I would like to thank you and your team for looking after the needs of my mother who has recently been admitted to your High Care floor. The care and attention which your staff have been giving her is absolutely brilliant.
The nursing staff have not only been attentive to her needs, they have been proactive to ensure that her health is being maintained at an excellent level. The attitude and friendliness has been excellent. Staff are always able to give me updates and I greatly appreciate this.
The social staff are beyond expectations, the hugs, the interest in each resident and their special needs are always utmost. I have been present for a great deal of time with my mother and can see the incredible benefit which they provide along with their daily duties. I especially enjoyed the special themed afternoon teas which provide interest to the residents. I also loved going on the bus trips with mum to have 'coffee and cake' at other coffee shops. So nice to have different surroundings and foods.
My mum would tell you that she is very happy and loves her room and is now familiar with the routine and feels she is able to converse with staff, particularly her carer who is brilliant with interacting with her.
Being able to have my mum have the attention of any medical or hairdressing professional available through your facility has given me a great deal of relief. At this time of settling in it is most important that her needs are continued.
The cleanliness of your facility is exemplary. The level is wonderful, it makes me feel so welcomed that you are so proud of your rooms and centre. Thank you so much for ensuring that the flowers etc in mum's room are always at their best.
All in all, coming to your facility is always so special, your entrance foyer is professional and caring at the same time. Thank you Chris for always finding a minute to chat, makes me feel that I can talk to you about any needs which may arise and that you will consider it with respect and friendliness.
